Weston happy to take stick

Brentford winger Myles Weston has admitted he is on the receiving end of some flak after wearing leggings in recent times.

But the match-saver in Saturday's 1-1 home draw against Wycombe Wanderers is happy to be the butt of the jokes as long as he keeps notching.

His effort at the weekend made in ten for the season and he wants to continue his exploits in front of goal.

He said: "I wear them because of my hamstring. I don't want to stop wearing them now because I'm scoring goals.

"Darren Sarll the youth team coach has been giving me some stick. He said I'm a little girl for wearing them, but if I keep scoring I don't mind. I don't care what anyone says.

"I don't really like setting targets. Last season I set myself a target of eight and didn't reach it.

"We've got 17 games left and if I can get to 15 goals I'll be very happy."
