Weston woe for Bees

Myles Weston looks set to be missing for Brentford when they host Cheltenham in the Carling Cup. The winger suffered a groin injury during Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Carlisle and is unlikely to be available. On-loan Huddersfield striker Robbie Simpson is eligible to play in the competition and could be handed a start in Weston's place after a lively substitute appearance at the weekend. Charlie MacDonald managed 25 minutes on his return from a groin injury and should be involved again but fellow forward Carl Cort is still struggling with an Achilles knock. Summer signings Michael Spillane and David McCracken will be sweating on their places after being hauled off at half-time on Saturday.
