Vine in line for Bees bow

Rowan Vine could make his second Brentford debut in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash with Charlton. The striker, who rejoined the Bees on loan from QPR last month, did not even travel with the squad for Saturday's win at Southampton due to boss Andy Scott's concerns over his match fitness. But Scott may use the midweek clash to give Vine some playing time, although he is likely to start on the bench. Winger Myles Weston is still missing with hamstring trouble and forward Carl Cort is a long-term absentee with an Achilles problem, but Scott has no new injury concerns following their impressive 2-0 success at the weekend. Pim Balkestein, David Hunt and Robbie Simpson could start if Scott opts to make changes.
