Brentford captain Kevin O'Connor admits leading his team out at Wembley will be a "dream come true". The Bees will take on Carlisle in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final next month after their two-legged win over Exeter. "I've never played there, it's a dream come true," said long-serving midfielder O'Connor. "I have been there once to watch a game, so touch wood, to be hopefully leading Brentford out at Wembley and stepping onto that pitch will be a great day." Striker Gary Alexander, who scored Brentford's second goal in Monday night's 2-1 win at St James Park, added: "Wembley is a special place to go, we used it as motivation. "We had the chance to go there and we took it."
