Tomlin latest to leave Bees

Brentford boss Scott Fitzgerald continues to wield the axe at Griffin Park with Gavin Tomlin the latest player to have his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

The 23-year-old leaves the Bees just 24 hours after Chris Moore's departure.

Tomlin moved to the League One strugglers last summer from Conference South side Yeading.

He made eight starts and seven substitute appearances for the club, but has now been deemed surplus to requirements by Fitzgerald.
