Striker scoops fans' PFA award

The frontman, on loan from Ipswich, only made 14 appearances for the club before his season came to a premature end in March when he suffered a broken metatarsal, but his seven goals, including a hat-trick against Shrewsbury, were enough to see him win the award. And Rhodes, 19, was delighted with his successful stay at Griffin Park and told the PFA website: "It was absolutely brilliant and I loved every minute of it. "From the kit man through to the fans who came to watch us train and play all the way through to the players, manager, chief executive and chairman, everyone made me feel really welcome. "It is a great club and I have gained so much from my time there."
