Selection boosts for Scott

Charlie MacDonald and Karleigh Osborne should return for Brentford's trip to Oldham. Striker MacDonald missed Monday night's draw against Exeter as a precaution due to a thigh injury while centre-half Osborne failed a late fitness test on his hamstring problem. But both are expected to shake off the injuries in time for the weekend. Midfielder Owain Tudur Jones could come into the side after joining on a month-long loan from Norwich. Sam Saunders remains on the sidelines with hamstring trouble but he has targeted a return against Yeovil at the end of the month. Fellow winger Sam Wood is still missing with a broken arm and striker Carl Cort is a long-term absentee with an Achilles problem. Cort had been pencilled in for a return in January but manager Andy Scott this week revealed he is nowhere near a comeback.
