Scott's boys good value

Brentford manager Andy Scott felt his side were worthy of all three points after a 2-1 win at Plymouth. The Bees went ahead in the 26th minute through midfielder Marcus Bean, who followed up at the far post after Romain Larrieu had brilliantly saved Michael Spillane's header. Argyle drew level in the 38th minute when Rory Fallon headed the ball in the air and spectacularly volleyed home following an angled cross from Onismor Bhasera. Spillane's 67th-minute strike from the left was then turned in on its way to goal with Bees striker Charlie MacDonald claiming the final touch. Scott said: "We worked hard for the result and I think we deserved it, we had the best chances. All 11 players out there worked hard for each other. I was disappointed with the goal they scored, but delighted with the way we kept the ball better as well in the second half. "We gave the ball away sometimes, but we were trying to do the right thing and I think people can see when we do it right we can play. We deserved the win and I know they were a few scary moments along the way, but you expect that if you come to a club like Plymouth and expect to get a good result."
