Scott staying with Brentford

Brentford boss Andy Scott has admitted that Peterborough United made an enquiry about replacing him with the departed Darren Ferguson, but he doesn't believe his job is done at Griffin Park. He watched his side draw against Millwall on Saturday, with new loan signing John Bostock scoring a brace and he is keen to concentrate on the Bees' progression in League One this term. Speaking to Richmond & Twickenham Times, he said: "I didn't have any direct contact with Peterborough. "They made an enquiry, the club told them the situation and that's as far as it went. "We're building a squad here and signed Marcus Bean to a new contract. "I wouldn't be signing any of my players if I was looking to get away."
