Scott pens Bees extension

Brentford manager Andy Scott has signed a new 12-month rolling contract following a successful year with the Bees.

Assistant manager Terry Bullivant has also penned a similar deal ahead of the club's debut in League One this weekend.

Scott told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to say that Bully and I have agreed new, 12-month rolling contracts, which have been up for discussion for several months."

Scott brought the League Two title to Griffin Park last term, his first full season in charge of the Bees.

Brentford kick off life in League One with an away fixture at Carlisle United.

Following the signing of Nikki Bull, Brentford have completed the capture of former Newcastle United striker Carl Cort, who has agreed a five-month contract.
