Brentford manager Andy Scott has revealed he is looking to shake up his squad in the summer after conceding defeat in their push for the play-offs.
The Bees lost 3-1 at Morecambe on Saturday to remain 12th in the League Two table and afterwards Scott turned his attention to next season.
"We're not going to reach the play-offs. Deep down I think we knew that, but we were trying to win every game and if we got there, then we got there," he told the club's official website.
"It's telling me a lot about my squad. I'm liking some of the things we're doing, but there are other things we need to improve.
"The players that I get in during the summer need to improve things, but we also need players who demand more of each other on the pitch and make sure other players do their job.
"It's always been a case of building for next season since the moment I got the manager's job.
"I knew the squad wasn't strong enough, but we should be winning games and, while we're doing a lot of good things, some of the things we're doing are very poor."
