Brentford striker Alan Connell won praise from manager Andy Scott for his reaction to being left on the bench for the 2-1 win at Rotherham United.
Connell came on four minutes from time at Millmoor and made his mark with a last-minute winner for the mid-table Bees.
Scott said after the victory: "Alan will have his chance to play his part in the remaining games and it was not a reflection on what he has done this season.
"I have made it clear I am going to change things around and when you do that, players have to be left out.
"But he responded in a good way and scored a fantastic goal at the end and that's one thing I know he can do anyway, so it was nothing new."
