Scott hails Bees performance

Brentford manager Andy Scott believes the first-half display in Tuesday's 3-1 win over Morecambe was some of the best football his side have played this season.

The in-form Bees hit back after conceding an early goal to roar ahead due to strikes by Charlie MacDonald, Glenn Poole and Nathan Elder.

"We responded very well," Scott told the club's official website.

"I was really pleased with the first half. Some of the football we played was some of the best stuff we have played all season.

"We could and probably should have scored a couple more.

"We are second in the table, unbeaten in 11, creating chances and we have good players to come back into the squad.

"Things are looking up, but we are not getting ahead of ourselves."
