Scott: That was shocking

Brentford manager Andy Scott bemoaned the quality of the football on display after his side beat Leyton Orient 5-4 on penalties in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Goalkeeper Richard Lee was the Bees hero, diving to his right to save a Matthew Spring spot-kick after both sides had successfully converted their first four kicks. The match ended goalless after 90 minutes, and Scott admitted: "I thought that was the most horrific game I've been involved with. "The quality was terrible, it was just a poor, poor game and I feel sorry for the people that turned up to watch it. I'm glad that some people probably got caught in traffic and turned around and went home, it was very poor. "We were fortunate to go through, the number of times that we gave the ball away was horrendous. They talk about unforced errors in tennis but if you counted them up for us you would have needed a calculator. "I'm delighted that there was no extra-time and it went straight to penalties because I couldn`t have hacked another 30 minutes of that rubbish."
