Scott salutes Brentford rearguard
The Bees, whose only defeat in seven League One games came at leaders Charlton, restricted the Terriers to long-range efforts until a frantic spell in the closing stages.
Scott said: "Our reports on Huddersfield showed they like to attack in numbers and get the ball wide.
"We worked hard on that in training and a few things at the back which Charlton exploited last week to keep things tight. We have the ability to catch teams out by counter-attacking with pace and it nearly worked for us.
"I thought we had the two best chances and with better finishing we could have won it."
