Scott plans double keeper swoop

With Hamer set to sign a new contract at Reading and poised to challenge for a first-team spot at the Madejski Stadium, Scott holds no hope of bringing him back to the club for a third loan spell. And with Seb Brown released, Simon Brown will be the only keeper on the books at the League Two champions if he signs a new deal. "Although it's clear Simon would be my number two at the moment, there will be opportunities to play if he stays," Scott told the Hounslow Chronicle. "But I want three keepers next season and I want to bring two in - a number one and a young keeper who will also be challenging for that spot. "I was pleased enough just to have got Ben back last season and I fully expect him to challenge as number one at Reading this season, never mind number two."
