Scott issued with an LMA apology

The LMA released its list of winners on Tuesday night but wrongly named Scott - who led the Bees to the League Two title last season - instead of the actual recipient, Paul Tisdale of Exeter. In a statement, LMA deputy chief executive Olaf Dixon said: "On behalf of the LMA I would like to apologise to Andy Scott and Brentford Football Football Club for incorrectly naming him as Coca-Cola League Two manager of the year in a press release. "On realising the error we immediately issued a corrected release, but not before a number of news organisations had carried the incorrect information. "I have spoken with Andy who, I am pleased to say, has readily accepted our sincere apologies."
