Scott contemplates changes

Brentford boss Andy Scott could be tempted to make changes for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy trip to Stevenage. Scott was unhappy with his side's defending after the Bees slumped to the foot of League One following Saturday's 3-1 defeat by Rochdale, so Pim Balkestein and David McCracken could be recalled. Winger Sam Wood is still on the sidelines with a back injury but Scott is hopeful he will be fit for next weekend's visit of Sheffield Wednesday. Summer signing Kirk Hudson is also close to full fitness following the groin injury which has delayed his debut. Striker Carl Cort made his first appearance of the season as a substitute on Saturday having recovered from an Achilles injury and should be involved again.
