Scott calls for Bees reality check

Bees skipper Kevin O'Connor gave the home side the lead from the spot just before the break after Sam Saunders was bundled over by Andy Holdsworth.[LNB]But the visitors hit back seven minutes after the break courtesy of a superb 25-yard curler into the top corner from the boot of Nick Blackman.[LNB]Scott said: "There were a few grumbles and moans from fans when we made mistakes. People will make mistakes and I've got no problem as long as they're learning.[LNB]"Our fans are brilliant but they need to realise just how far we have come in the last 18 months. The fact that we are disappointed of only taking a point from an established League One side says it all.[LNB]"We're disappointed we haven't won and with a little more quality in the last third we might have done.[LNB]"But the fact that we're disappointed means a lot to me. I was concerned after last week's draw and the great support at Southampton that people would turn up expecting us to smash Oldham out of sight but that never happens with Dave Penney's side."[LNB][LNB]
