Scott: Bees can only get stronger
The Bees, promoted as League Two champions last term, battled to a goalless draw at Hartlepool on Friday night and currently lie 13th in the table.
"We are ticking along, we have 14 points from 12 games," said Scott.
"We know we could have a few more points but we are feeling our way in this division and we have started as well, if not better, than the other teams that came up.
"We are going to get stronger, we are learning from our mistakes.
"We want to close in on the teams in the top 10 and give ourselves a chance of being in the mix at the end of the season. It's important we keep picking up points and move up the league - we believe we deserve to be in the top 10."
