Scott: We made it far too easy

Scott blasted his players for sloppy defending and accused them of gifting sides too many points following the 3-0 defeat at Brighton. He said: "Teams who have beaten us have been given the wins. Brighton didn't carve us open until the end - we gave them goals and you can't afford to do that. In this match, we gave away more free-kicks than in our previous three games put together." Scott also criticised the decision of referee Danny McDermid to send off substitute Alan Bennett for deliberate handball in the incident that led to Nicky Forster scoring Brighton's third goal from the penalty spot. Scott added: "The penalty was indicative of how the referee refereed the game."
