Saunders: Trophy defeat can be positive

Brentford winger Sam Saunders has vowed to use their Wembley heartbreak as motivation for success in the future. The Bees put in a disappointing performance as they went down 1-0 to Carlisle in Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final. They return to the day job with a visit from Swindon this weekend, and with the play-offs still a slim possibility Saunders wants to end the season on a high. "We will look back on it and think we have done ourselves proud in the last few months," he said. "But we have the rest of this season, and if it's not to be this season then we can mount a charge next season. "We don't want this feeling again and if we get another chance we will all remember that."
