Brentford boss Leroy Rosenior is hopeful that several first-team players can return to full match fitness during the course of the coming week.
The Bees' promising start to the campaign has been hampered greatly by a lengthy injury-list and Saturday's 2-1 home defeat against Yeovil Town means they have gone six League One games without a win.
However, Rosenior now has a week to try and bring a number of his influential performers back from the treatment room ahead of Saturday's visit of high-flying Bristol City.
He said on the club's official website: "Jo Kuffour has been playing with a bad back for a while, so we'll give him and a few other players a bit of a rest this week.
"We're going to use the week to get players back like Andy Frampton and Oli Skulason, who need some fitness work, and then some others will get some treatment.
"I can't recall ever having so many players out injured. It's important we use this free week well."
