Poole still reeling after Bees exit
Poole was told by boss Andy Scott that he was surplus to requirements following the Bees' promotion to League One.[LNB]The 28-year-old, who quit Grays just before Christmas, is set to begin the next chapter of his career after joining AFC Wimbledon earlier this week.[LNB]"It is still hard to take that I am not there and the disappointment has hung with me for the last few months," he told the South London Guardian. "I really worked hard to get into League football and then to have that happen was harsh.[LNB]"I thought I proved my worth there and the stats don't lie, but Andy Scott obviously had his reasons for letting me go and I have to respect that.[LNB]"He gave me my chance and I will always be grateful for that. I am proud of what I achieved at Brentford and the fans were brilliant to me."[LNB][LNB]
