Osborne pens Bees deal

Brentford have agreed a new two-year contract with promising defender Karleigh Osborne. The former Bees trainee made the step up to first-team regular last season and has been rewarded with a contract tying him to Griffin Park until summer 2009. "I'm really pleased to have signed a new deal with the club that gave me my break in football," he told the club's official website. "Obviously last season was a bad time for everyone, but I'm determined to move on from that. "We can only move up now and I'm looking forward to working with (manager) Terry (Butcher). I'm really happy to be here."
