Osborne scare for Bees

Brentford defender Karleigh Osborne was rushed to hospital for a CT scan following the 1-1 draw at Notts County. Osborne was flattened by a Craig Westcarr shot in the 78th minute, with the assistant referee then flagging for a handball against him before Bees goalkeeper Simon Moore saved Westcarr's penalty. Boss Nicky Forster said: "Karleigh's gone to hospital, I'm not wholly aware of what's going to happen. I think they're planning to do what's called a CT scan to make sure. "He doesn't remember anything, he thinks someone fell on him, he's not right though, everyone could see he wasn't right." On his players' display Forster added: "I thought every one of them was superb. We knew what we'd have to contend with and we weren't disappointed. "Perhaps it wasn't the greatest of spectacles and the pitch didn't help us trying to play football. But to have that disappointment put on us and then to go up the other end and score an equaliser was fantastic."
