Brentford captain Kevin O'Connor has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract with the club. The 28-year-old, who has made 433 appearances for the Bees in 11 years, would have been out of contract in the summer but will now stay at Griffin Park until the end of the 2012/13 season. The midfielder told the club's official website: "Coming to the end of your contract your future is always in the back of your mind. I'm delighted to have another couple of years. "This will take me through until I'm 31 and I have loved my stay here. I would love to finish my playing career here, this is my club."
