Neilson may miss Owls clash

Robbie Neilson is doubtful for Brentford's trip to Sheffield Wednesday. The on-loan Leicester full-back was stretchered out of Friday night's 2-1 win over Carlisle and although his ankle injury is not as serious as first feared, he is unlikely to travel north. Club captain Kevin O'Connor came on for Neilson at right-back and could now be in line to make his 400th start for the Bees. Centre-half Karleigh Osbourne missed out on Friday through illness and should be available while winger Sam Saunders and striker Robbie Simpson (both ankle) are also close to returning, although they could be saved for Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Carlisle. Goalkeeper Richard Lee (shoulder) and forward Charlie MacDonald (ankle) are still missing.
