Mixed feelings for Bees boss

Brentford boss Andy Scott has admitted he will have mixed feelings when presented with the League Two trophy at the weekend.

The Bees will be handed the trophy after Saturday's final game of the season, but that is against Luton Town who have been relegated out of the Football League.

"It promises to be an extraordinary atmosphere at Griffin Park after an outstanding year for us all," said Scott.

"However, with all the celebrations going on it would be amiss not to mention the plight of our opponents Luton.

"It would be appropriate to acknowledge the difficulties they have had to try to overcome this season and their valiant attempt to claw back the 30-point deficit they were hit with before a ball was even kicked.

"Luton Town is a fantastic club with great tradition and the fact they were capable of taking 40,000 fans to Wembley shows the level of support they have and means they will regain their rightful place in the Football League as soon as possible.

"On behalf of everyone at Brentford I'd like to wish (manager) Mick (Harford) and the rest of his team the best of luck for 2009-10."
