MacDonald snub for Bees

Brentford have had a bid for striker Charlie MacDonald turned down by League One outfit Southend United.
The 27-year-old has only been at Roots Hall for one season, having made his name in non-league football with Ebbsfleet.
Shrimpers boss Steve Tilson told the club's official website: "Brentford have come in an offer for Charlie, but it isn't near what we want for him.
"He may be on the transfer list, but the deal has to be right and we won't be selling him for what they have offered."
MacDonald scored just five times in 34 appearances for Southend last season.
