MacDonald: Back to basics for Bees

22 September 2009 11:57
The Bees made a promising start to the campaign but suffered their third defeat in four games against Bristol Rovers on Saturday. That defeat ended Brentford's unbeaten record at Griffin Park and MacDonald knows their home form will be important. "We need to make it a fortress here at Griffin Park again," he told the club's official website. "We have two big games coming up with Yeovil away and Southend at home so we need to pick up some points. The team started very well but we haven't picked up any points against Charlton and a decent point against Huddersfield. "So we need to start again on the training pitch and buck-up, start doing things right and get back to doing the basics."
