MacDonald back for Bees

Charlie MacDonald could return to the Brentford side for the visit of Oldham. The striker has missed the last three matches with an ankle injury but is close to fitness. MacDonald may replace Nicky Forster, who needs a groin operation, while fellow forwards Carl Cort (Achilles) and Robbie Simpson (hamstring) are still missing. Goalkeeper Richard Lee expects to find himself back on the bench despite his latest penalty shoot-out exploits. Lee repeated last month's Carling Cup heroics against Everton as Brentford squeezed past Leyton Orient in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday night, but he accepts he is currently the club's "cup keeper" with Ben Hamer set to return. Karleigh Osborne, Michael Spillane and Myles Weston were rested in midweek.
