Brentford boss Terry Butcher has allowed Grant Basey and Ben Hamer to end their loan spells at Griffin Park.
Teenage defender Basey has returned to Charlton Athletic after playing ten games for the Bees while goalkeeper Hamer is now back with Reading after making seven appearances for Butcher's side.
The former England international told Brentford's official website: "They've been terrific for us and hopefully they've learnt a lot about league football.
"The lads gave them a round of applause in the dressing-room and I hope they'll keep in touch.
"We'll certainly speak to their respective clubs and send back many positives because they've been terrific and hopefully they'll go on to have great careers.
"But we have to move on and we're looking at bringing in other players and will work hard to do that."
