Landmark for Bean

Brentford boss Nicky Forster could have Adam Reed available when he takes his side to Hartlepool for his first game as permanent manager. The on-loan Sunderland midfielder, who was born in Hartlepool, has yet to make his debut for the Bees and has been struggling with a groin problem but will face a late check before the trip. Long-term absentee Sam Wood will miss out again as he continues his rehabilitation from a broken arm but Forster has an otherwise fully-fit squad. Midfielder Kevin O'Connor suffered no reaction to his groin problem during the 1-1 midweek draw with Notts County and is likely to carry on, while defender Leon Legge has fully overcome a back problem and will be pushing for a recall. Fellow defender Marcus Bean is in line to make his 100th league start for Brentford and striker Gary Alexander is just one goal away from his 150th professional strike.
