Heath: Spencer injury was sickening

The Bees lost striker Nathan Elder to a fractured cheekbone and eye socket at Rotherham in March and are not happy that Spencer has become the second player sidelined from this injury following his collision with Darlington defender Alan White last weekend. Bees chief executive David Heath told the Hounslow Chronicle: "The sound the injury made was like a cricket bat hitting a cricket ball. It was sickening. "If it had happened that night in Darlington high street, Adam White would be going down for ABH (Actual Bodily Harm). "He will serve his ban and then could be back playing before long, while Damian Spencer is out of contract and could be without a livelihood. "We will see what the specialist says first, but we certainly want to make a case to the FA to get their house in order as this sort of thing is happening too much at the moment."
