Hammond hails returning Royals
The Royals have had as many as 12 players out on loan at any one time this season and Hammond believes their success can only bode well for the future.
He told the club's official website: "Our loan players have done really well this season, gaining a great deal of experience and making a big contribution to their clubs.
"For example, Ben Hamer and Alan Bennett both played virtually every game for Brentford in a championship-winning season and it's encouraging to see so many of our young players doing well.
"They've all come back to the training ground with a real spring in their step and will make a valuable contribution to this week's training ahead of the play-offs."
