Hamer back for Bees

Ben Hamer returns to the Brentford squad for the trip to Exeter. The on-loan Reading goalkeeper was ineligible for Tuesday night's Carling Cup penalty shoot-out defeat at Birmingham and should regain his place from Richard Lee. Boss Andy Scott could name an otherwise unchanged line-up following their fine display at St Andrew's. Huddersfield loanee Robbie Simpson made his return as a substitute after almost two months out with a hamstring injury and should be involved again. Fellow striker Carl Cort is therefore the only injury absentee as he continues his recovery from a torn Achilles. The Bees have recovered from a poor start to the season and won their last two league games to move clear of the bottom three.
