Grabban absence stings Bees

Brentford manager Andy Scott will be without loan striker Lewis Grabban for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy clash at Swindon. Grabban, who made five appearances and scored one goal during his loan spell, has been recalled by parent club Millwall due to an injury crisis and therefore will not be involved. Goalkeeper Ben Hamer will fight it out with Richard Lee for the number one jersey. Hamer missed the clash against Bournemouth after getting stuck in traffic and then had to sit out the FA Cup first-round draw with Aldershot through ineligibility and Lee has done little wrong during his spell in the sticks. Gary Alexander could return to the squad following a knock and Charlie MacDonald is expected to make his 100th start for the club since signing from Southend back in 2008 as Brentford look to return to winning ways following two successive draws.
