Brentford boss Nicky Forster paid tribute to his players despite the Bees suffering a second defeat in as many games as Brighton picked up a 1-0 win.An own goal from defender Karleigh Osborne was enough to hand the table-topping Seagulls all three points after Richard Lee did well to save an Ashley Barnes spot-kick.Forster said: "We stood toe-to-toe with the best in the league."Our players are desperately disappointed, and judging by the screams and shouts from the Brighton dressing room they were delighted with the win which on the balance of play, they probably didn't deserve."I asked for a response after Saturday's defeat and I got it. But for the Brighton goalkeeper Sam Saunders might have had a hat-trick, and I thought we were outstanding in many areas, particularly the two young lads Adam Reed and Nathan Byrne."I told the referee I thought the penalty was soft and I thought there was a definite pull on Karleigh's shirt and that contributed to the own goal."
