Forster set for starting berth

Veteran striker Nicky Forster hopes to line up against one of his old clubs when Brentford host Charlton. Forster, who spent the second half of last season on loan at The Valley, needs a groin operation but has been asked to delay going under the knife with the Bees struggling at the foot of the table. Charlie MacDonald, another former Addicks frontman, is sidelined with an ankle injury so Forster is in line to start alongside either Gary Alexander or Carl Cort. Boss Andy Scott could also be without midfielder Toumani Diagouraga, who is struggling with flu. Huddersfield loanee Robbie Simpson misses out again with a hamstring injury and midfielder David Hunt remains on the sidelines with damaged ankle ligaments.
