Summer signing Nicky Forster has spoken of his delight at returning to Brentford for a second spell. Forster spent three years with the Bees in the mid-90s, but the former Brighton man believes his all-round game has improved since his last stint at Griffin Park and has high hopes for the upcoming season. Forster, who signed a two-year deal with the Bees last month, told the club's official website: "I am delighted to be back at the club. The club has moved on and so have I since we parted. "It is very different to my initial time here. I was a little apprehensive about going over old ground with any of my former clubs. However, I felt both parties have moved on sufficiently that there is a distinct difference and I am really looking forward to the challenge." The 36-year-old added: "I'm a different player and character to when I was playing for Brentford. In my early days I was very raw and relied solely on my pace. "My ability sometimes let me down and I needed three or four chances to get a goal. At my age I do not have that pace anymore but I think I am a better footballer. I use the ball better, my touch is better and my finishing is better."
