Forster could make cup start

Nicky Forster is pushing for a start for Brentford`s Johnstone's Paint Trophy Southern Area Final First Leg at home to Exeter. The 37-year-old came off the bench to score a late equaliser when the two sides met in League One on Friday night and could be rewarded with a rare start in the cup. Defender Leon Legge remains out with a calf injury and is not expected to be available so Karleigh Osborne or David McCracken will partner Pim Balkestein at the back. Sam Saunders is still not fit following a hamstring problem and fellow winger Sam Wood is recovering from a broken arm. Striker Carl Cort remains a long-term absentee with a torn Achilles.
