Gary Madine and Ian Harte fired Carlisle to an impressive opening-day victory against Brentford.The Bees were under early pressure as debutant Craig Curran hit the woodwork twice inside the first six minutes. Carlisle took the lead when Sean McDaid sent a low cross into the penalty area where Madine took a touch and finished from eight yards out.
