Butcher gets the chop

Brentford manager Terry Butcher has paid for his side's dreadful recent form with his job.
A brief statement on the Bees' official website read: "Brentford have today parted company with Terry Butcher by mutual consent.
"This takes place with immediate effect and Andy Scott will take temporary charge of the team for this Saturday's game at Wrexham."
The home defeat to Grimsby Town was Brentford's fifth successive League Two loss and they have failed to score a goal in that dismal sequence of results.
The Bees are 19th in the table, only four points above the relegation zone following last season's relegation from League One.
Former Coventry City, Sunderland, Motherwell and Sydney FC boss Butcher had only been in charge at Griffin Park since May.
