Broken arm for Wood

Brentford will be without Sam Wood for the trip to Bournemouth after the defender suffered a broken arm in the win against Dagenham. The 24-year-old crashed into advertising hoardings after 15 minutes of the 2-1 victory. Boss Andy Scott said: "He will be out for a while. It`s a big blow for us and a blow for him." Myles Weston came on after a lengthy absence with a hamstring injury to replace Wood but was then taken off himself as he tired in the closing stages. Scott must now decide if he is fit enough to start against the Cherries. Striker Carl Cort remains sidelined with a torn Achilles tendon and will not travel. Fellow forward Gary Alexander scored the winner against the Daggers, bringing his tally for the season to seven goals.
