Julian Gray's cool finish earned Walsall victory and their first points of the season at Brentford.The Saddlers took the lead from their first attack when hesitation in the home defence allowed Alex Nicholls to convert a long ball. The Bees levelled just before the break when Gary Alexander headed home Robbie Simpson's cross. But Gray clinched the win for the visitors when he swept Darren Byfield's centre into the net.
