Duo in line for Bees bow

Brentford could hand debuts to new loan signings Liam Moore and Bradley Wright-Phillips when they host Walsall.

Defender Moore has joined from Leicester and striker Wright-Phillips from Charlton on deals until the end of the season to boost the Bees' promotion bid.

Midfielder Jake Reeves should be fit despite the nasty head injury he suffered against Chelsea last weekend.

The teenager had to go off after taking the full force of David Luiz's shoulder in his face as the Bees' FA Cup run came to an end, but manager Uwe Rosler expects him to be available.

Midfielder Kevin O'Connor is still sidelined by an ankle injury and striker Farid El Alagui is the other long-term absentee with a knee problem.

Goalkeeper Aaron McCarey comes into contention for Walsall.

The 21-year-old on Thursday re-signed for the Saddlers on loan from Wolves until the end of the season, coming after he enjoyed eight games for the club over November and December.

McCarey has been brought in after manager Dean Smith failed to extend the loan stay of Ian McLoughlin, who was between the posts for last weekend's 1-1 draw against Notts County. He will now challenge David Grof for the gloves.

Defender Ben Purkiss is hopeful of being fit after a hamstring strain ruled him out last weekend.

Richard Taundry continues to miss out with his ankle problem as Walsall aim to close the eight-point gap between themselves and the play-offs.
