Harris blow for Bees

Brentford are set to be without Kadeem Harris when they host Swindon.

Winger Harris suffered a hamstring injury during the first half of Saturday's 3-0 win at Preston that could spell an early end to his loan deal from Cardiff, which is due to expire on January 5.

Sam Saunders came on for Harris and could get the nod from the start against the Robins, although boss Mark Warburton has also recalled fellow wideman Stuart Dallas from his loan at Northampton as cover.

Right-back Alan McCormack and midfielder Jonathan Douglas will line up against their former club.

Swindon expect Nathan Thompson to be fit for the trip to London.

The 21-year-old missed the 2-1 win over Coventry on Saturday as he was suffering from a chest infection but the Robins expect him to be available to take on the Bees.

Yaser Kasim and Miles Storey both came off the bench to score the goals that downed the Sky Blues and the pair will hope to have put themselves in Mark Cooper's thoughts ahead of the clash.

Storey's goalscoring appearance was his first for the club since September while former Newcastle forward Nile Ranger made his first start since November 9 and is expected to keep his place after an impressive display.
