O'Connor set for landmark game

Kevin O'Connor is set to make his 500th appearance for Brentford when they entertain Stevenage.

The long-serving Griffin Park captain has only played 11 times this season but is in line to clock up the milestone as the Bees round off their promotion season.

Left-back Jake Bidwell needs a check after missing last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Colchester with a groin strain while Harlee Dean and Adam Forshaw will miss out.

Centre-half Dean has undergone surgery to cure an abdominal problem and midfielder Forshaw is recovering from an ankle operation.

Filipe Morais is in contention for a return to the Stevenage squad.

The 28-year-old winger completed a three-match ban last week after he was sent off against Colchester and will hope to feature.

Already-relegated Boro have doubts over defender Jon Ashton (ankle) and strikers Darius Charles (ankle) and Francois Zoko (groin), but midfielder Roarie Deacon is fit again after recovering from an ankle problem.

Youngsters Joseph N'Guessan, Fejiri Okenabirhie and Rohdell Gordon should be involved again after helping Stevenage end their 10-match winless run with a 3-2 victory over Walsall last weekend.
