Bees banking on Moore

Brentford expect goalkeeper Simon Moore to be fit for the visit of Stevenage.

Moore was missing from Tuesday night's 4-2 FA Cup replay win over Bradford after picking up a slight knock at Notts County on Saturday, with Antoine Gounet coming in to make his Bees debut.

Loanees Rob Kiernan and Lee Hodson return to the squad after they were ineligible in midweek, while Adam Forshaw and Harlee Dean were rested.

Midfielder Harry Forrester and striker Clayton Donaldson came on as substitutes against the Bantams and they should return to the starting line-up.

Boss Uwe Rosler has no new injury worries but is still without midfielder Kevin O'Connor (ankle) and striker Farid El Alagui (knee) due to long-term problems.

Stevenage will check on Filipe Morais ahead of the trip.

The Portuguese winger has missed Boro's last two matches with an ankle injury.

Defender Jon Ashton remains on the sidelines with an Achilles problem but boss Gary Smith has no new injury concerns.

Midfielder Robin Shroot celebrated signing a new contract with a return to the starting line-up and a goal against Crawley last week, so he should keep his place.

But Smith could make changes elsewhere after seeing his side slip to a 2-1 defeat.

Darius Charles is challenging for a recall at left-back and Luke Freeman could return in attack.

Young goalkeeper Charlie Horlock was on the bench for the first time against Crawley and could keep his place.
